Getting into the Riad is difficult because of its position and the lack of cleanliness in the area.

The location is good for being close to the center, but the neighborhood feels a bit dull, dirty, and odd; the breakfast was fine and the room was large. The surroundings are not pleasant: the room isn’t cleaned, the bed isn’t made, trash isn’t taken out, and you have to keep asking for toilet paper. The door always stays open, letting a person slip in to keep warm at night. Cats roam freely in the dining area, and the room door needs a push to open. This disappointed me.

The place sits right in the Medina, close to one of the gates, which made getting in with luggage a breeze. The staff were friendly, though their Spanish was a bit rough and they didn't offer any restaurant suggestions. Breakfast was varied and tasty. The bathroom feels a bit old‑fashioned even though it's been renovated, but the room still has its own charm.

The Riad Amelia impressed us with its beautiful, spotless facilities. The woman who attended us was very kind, attentive, and exuded a calming presence from the moment we arrived. We enjoyed a generous, delicious breakfast. Located inside the Medina, the setting is tranquil and perfect for a quiet rest.
