The spa was calm and serene, just what I wanted, and breakfast on Saturday was tasty and the reception staff were friendly. On Sunday breakfast turned into a mess, with guests scrambling through a maze of rooms to find a table and the food served far away in a cramped area that wasn’t visible from the tables, which made it hard to notice when basic items like eggs ran out.

The hotel and spa in Kahl am Main are gorgeous, right beside the Kahl bike trail, and everyone on staff is helpful and polite. The bike storage is safe, my room was immaculate and beautiful, breakfast was excellent, and dinner was superb.

The bed was excellent, the room spacious, the décor tastefully done, breakfast tasty, and the ladies at the front desk were very engaged; the hotel looks well maintained overall. The only downside was that our room had not been repainted for a while, though it was otherwise very clean.
