The hotel is in a fantastic spot, the area is lively and full of restaurants, and the reception staff were very kind, spoke English, and helped us arrange a visit to the Stone Forest. Being in a very touristy area, it can get a bit noisy at night, but it didn’t bother us.

Everything was absolutely perfect, from the ideal location right in the heart of the shopping district—great for strolling, sampling local specialties, and hunting for souvenirs—to the warm and attentive welcome from the staff. The team was adorable, always available, accommodating, and went out of their way to make the stay as pleasant as it was exceptional. A truly beautiful experience; I highly recommend this hotel ✨

The hotel is in a great spot, right in the center of Kunming’s Old Town, housed in a historic building. The windows block out the persistent evening noise well, the room is spacious and clean, and the staff are courteous. Unfortunately, all the brochures in the room were only in Chinese, making it hard to understand the services offered, and the staff don’t speak English (or barely do, as in many other hotels and restaurants in the area), so communication is only possible via WeChat.

I recommend it mainly for its location. The room isn’t very large, so it’s hard to move around if you have more than one suitcase. The staff don’t speak English and the room has no air conditioning, just a fan. The cleanliness is acceptable, but I had higher expectations. The bathroom feels a bit old.
