Because of budget limits I chose to book at Astoria again after several years; the room is spacious and the mattress was comfortable for my taste, which is the only positive I can mention. On the downside, there isn’t a square meter of wall that isn’t stained in some way, the furniture is in such poor condition that you try not to touch it too much, and the bathroom is similarly bad; my advice is that if you don’t want to be in the city centre for a lower price than other hotels, look elsewhere.

The hotel’s position in the city centre is good and the staff were super, but without the discount the price feels too high for what is offered.

The breakfast was okay and the location was fine, but I didn’t know which tap was hot or cold, and it seemed the same for the sink and the shower.
