The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room and bedding were clean, and the bathroom was practical and first‑class. The city attractions were nearby. The Indonesian breakfast rice was stale and the tempeh sauce seemed reheated from the previous day. The only milk offered for coffee was old powdered milk that clumped in the cup. This unpretentious local breakfast is rare.
