The staff were friendly and the hotel’s history was fascinating. It’s well situated near the town centre. The bathroom in room 1 was a bit dirty and cramped, and the spiral staircase to the rooms, which wasn’t mentioned in the details, was inaccessible for disabled guests. There was no parking or breakfast on site, and the pub guests smoked outside the room, so you couldn’t open a window.

The location was excellent, the building had a great atmosphere, and the shower was delightful. The beds were very bouncy, and the noise from the bar above was a bit loud.
