The man at the front desk working overnight was friendly and professional, and I don’t want this review to reflect badly on him. He tried to fix things, but the hotel was fully booked that weekend. I checked in around 2am, and after putting my luggage in the rack and heading to my room, I was yelled at by a man in his underwear when I used my key. I have a dog, so that stressed her out. I went to the front desk upset, and the man apologized and sent me to another room. When I opened that door, the table was pulled away from the wall, the bed wasn’t made, and it clearly had been slept in. I took a video for proof. After seeing the room like that, I told the front desk, and he said that was the last room available. I ended up having to find another hotel that would let me check in at 3am.
The breakfast was very good. The pool wasn’t clean and the hallway had a strong smell
“I will NEVER stay at this hotel again.”
The location was convenient for all my plans for the weekend. They never came by to clean the room and there were no fresh towels available for 2 of the 4 days I stayed.
“Not worth the price I paid.”
The location was close to where I needed to be, even though it’s on the other side of I‑295 and 17. The bed was big and cozy, so I slept well—that’s all I needed, just a decent place to flop for a night. My money would have been better spent at Suburban Studios or somewhere else nearby and inexpensive. There were a lot of problems with this place. The room was a nice size but too dark. The TV worked, but the color was all messed up. The chair by the desk was broken and wobbly. The toilet seat kept slipping when we sat down and it was hard to flush. The tub backed up when we showered. A bunch of potheads stayed in the hotel and might have been smoking in the elevators; they absolutely reeked of cannabis. This would have been fine for a $60–70 a night place, but it was nearly $120 a night. Not worth the price. The whole place seemed to have a moisture problem, because they were running portable dehumidifiers in the hallways. I also saw a suspicious red spot in the carpet in my room that might have been blood. Who knows. This place needs to lower their prices unless they do serious renovations to bring it up to par with Hampton Inn or Courtyard.
“Disappointed”
There was no phone in the room. The TV didn’t work. The room next door had children that kicked the walls most of the night, plus a barking dog. I’ll never rent another room from Quality Inn. The hotel needs renovation.
