The hotel sits prettily on the edge of the village with a beautiful view, and its name is fittingly close to the walking routes to Beloi viewpoint and the Vradeto steps, all within walking distance. The breakfast could be better, but when we asked for yogurt we were given it anyway.

The hosts are really nice and the village is a starting point for viewing the Vikos Valley and for another trail between villages so it’s very convenient. The homemade food, like the pastries, is very tasty. The view from the rooms is really beautiful. I was a little bothered by the lack of blinds and only a curtain, so I personally wake up to the light, but aside from that the room is basic with everything needed for a few nights. Really great.

Balkoni Zagoriou sits in an incredible location, high above the area, with a large open terrace and unforgettable views over Vikos Gorge. The facilities are simple, but everything is very clean and well kept. What truly makes the place outstanding is the couple who manage it. They are kind, warm, generous, and provide amazing, personal hospitality. Their homemade food is delicious, and the whole experience feels authentic and family-like. It may not be a luxury hotel, but it has something much more important: heart, beauty, and genuine hospitality. A wonderful place that deserves much recognition. Water pressure in the shower is low

The people were friendly, but the location was even better; the rooms and breakfast were simple yet solid, with many homemade and regional products.
