The bed was really comfortable and the staff were great, but the loo flush stopped working and the shower was too hot to stand under.

The place is comfortable, warm, and quiet, though the decor feels a bit dated.

The breakfast lady was lovely and super helpful, but the building feels ancient, with dirty furniture and carpets, and the bathroom turned into a wet room because it never dried. The shower door is tiny, so water splashes everywhere, the extractor fan fails to clear moisture, and the towel rail is broken.

Cleanliness was lacking; the heated rail in the bathroom didn’t work and the shower was iffy.

The location is ideal for the children's hospital, but the room wasn’t clean and the floor clearly hadn’t seen a hover in a while. I had booked a cot for my 1‑year‑old, yet the reception staff claimed they didn’t know about it and it took three hours to get one. I had to leave my push chair at reception because they gave me an upstairs room with no lift, causing trouble carrying my daughter up the stairs. I asked for a ground‑floor room, but none were available.
