The place sits in a good spot with plenty of nearby amenities and easy access to the beach and Alanya castle, and the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are decent, featuring good air conditioning, mattresses, and pillows. However, the biggest problem is the greed: the hotel tries to charge you for every little thing. They claim the hotel has a private beach, but sunbeds cost extra per day, as do pool towels. Diners are paid for, drinks aren’t included, and even water isn’t free. They put signs telling guests not to bring their own food or drinks. The beach bar staff, who manage the sunbeds at Kleopatra beach, are extremely rude and aggressive. There’s only one shower next to the bar, so queues are common. A bartender yells at people trying to use a shade and chases them away, even if they’re just passing through the “territory.” This is simply disgraceful. The pool area is very small, and there’s no air conditioning in the hallways, common areas, or restaurant. Dinner options are very limited and of poor quality.
The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The location was very close to the beach and the town, and the breakfast was good.
The hospitality was generous and the staff impressive. The location is great. Coming back in summer is a must.
“Overall well worth the money and very satisfied”
The staff were very friendly, and breakfast was excellent with super hot coffee, fresh fruit, vegetables, eggs, and breads. The pool was nice and it was easy to get sunbeds even in August, especially between 07.45-09.00. The hotel bedroom was lovely with nice beds and great pillows. The sunbeds were black and very hot, so you had to cover them to avoid burning; a lighter colour would be better for the next upgrade or replacement. Karaoke night went on too long and was painful to listen to if you weren’t involved; the hotel bedrooms are not soundproof at all, so it’s like they are in your bedroom singing loudly. I recommend a 23.00 finish and turning the volume down. The belly dancer was a bit disappointing, with a very short solo performance and then more interest in taking photos with guests, which was obviously about making money. A weekly entertainment notice board listing all activities rather than just each night would help. Also, a brighter bedside lamp would be useful because the lights are quite dim next to the bed.
“Great location for a break in Alanya”
The hotel is in a perfect location for the beach and a nice walk into Alanya. The staff were super friendly and the rooms were clean.
