Being right in the middle of everything in the city, close to the train station and ferry terminal, made our Messina visit a breeze. The rooms were spotless and gorgeous, with high ceilings, and the price was reasonable. The staff were incredibly friendly, which really added to the enjoyment of our stay.

The room was pretty, old but cozy, and the bed was comfortable; everything was clean. Check‑in was straightforward and hassle‑free. The host was friendly and let us drop off our luggage without any trouble. The only downside was that the window only faced the interior of the apartment, so there was no fresh air or natural light, which was a bit of a let‑down, but otherwise everything was fine.

It’s situated close to the bus and train stations. However, getting into the hotel proved difficult even with an entry code that didn’t work; you have to climb the stairs to reach the “hotel,” and there is no elevator.

The spot sits right in the middle of town, which was great. They didn't serve breakfast, but grabbing something nearby was easy. The building feels a bit rough around the edges, yet it really has that old‑world charm. The host answered my texts quickly and was helpful. The shower’s hot water finally came on, but it took an absurd amount of time. Not every room has an ensuite.
