The property feels a bit unsettling because it’s a former watermill and the only building that’s been refurbished so far—others will be updated later. Nobody lives on the premises, so the place has a faint sense of abandonment. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and well finished, and breakfast was simple but tasty, served by Ingrid who showed up at the time we’d arranged. The river running through the garden is lovely. The surrounding area could use a little TLC.
