We arrived after the check‑in time of 12pm and the rooms were still not ready, and one room’s air‑con wasn’t working during a heatwave, which made the stay uncomfortable, and the location is questionable.

We loved the location—close to great restaurants, shops, and the metro—and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The Wi‑Fi was spotty and the AC stopped working, yet the staff managed to get it running again.

The room was spacious, with a wonderful view from the windows overlooking the Galata Tower, and I was thrilled to receive a better room than I had booked. The windows let in so much light that I didn’t want to leave the room. The bed was huge and comfortable. Importantly, the location was key: the center of Istiklal Street was just a 4‑5 minute walk, and everything I wanted to see—Galata, alleys, shops—was nearby. A special thanks to the owner for helping with heavy luggage and arranging a transfer; that was very valuable. Nothing disappointed me, though I would have liked more power outlets—it’s just my preference.
