“Zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit und immer um den Gast bemüht noch bevor man fragen müsste”
A very nice room with a bathroom and amenities, and there's nothing to complain about.

Hotel Reckord in Herzebrock features rooms with bathrooms, balconies, kitchenettes, minibars, refrigerators, work desks, and toiletries. Guests dine at a restaurant and bar, enjoy free Wi‑Fi, a lift, room service, and parking. The hotel is a 2‑minute walk from Kloster Herzebrock, 27 km from Sparrenburg Castle, 10 km to Die Weberei, and 9 km to St. Marienkirche. Highly praised for breakfast and room comfort.

I stayed in a simple but impeccably clean room—no dust, no bad smells, no mold in the bathroom—and the daily housekeeping did a solid job. The staff were super friendly, helpful, multilingual, and always available. The bed was comfortable, the linens spotless and fragrant, though the overall quality could use a lift. The location was excellent; the city felt peaceful with plenty of recreation and dining options. Breakfast was decent but could improve. Heating worked great. The bathroom was basic but functional. The elevator was handy. The on‑site restaurant served great food, drinks, and service at a fair price, offering good value. A major drawback was the absence of an extra bedside electric socket, and there was no air conditioning. Soundproofing was virtually nonexistent, so quiet neighbors were a lucky find. The bathroom lacked a soap tray, and its layout felt impractical—acceptable for a short stay but problematic for longer. At breakfast, the fruit‑juice jars were always empty and never refilled, and the coffee was weak.

The rooms were functional, very cozy, and clean. The bathroom with the large shower was perfect. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast selection was excellent, and they politely asked if anything was missing. I will gladly return in the future.
