“A perfect and peaceful place to stay outside of Kanazawa.”

All of the staff were extremely friendly and happy to help with all of our needs. The Japanese food was amazingly delicious and perfectly prepared. We spent the mornings and evenings here while touring Kanazawa during the day, and it was a perfect three nights. The local town was also fun to walk around and visit, including some great coffee shops. We had a very good massage in our room, which was a nice feature of the stay. We had private Onsen baths in our rooms, which was the best way to relax. We highly recommend! Our friends like milk in their coffee, which was not available on the first day, but the staff was very happy to organize milk for each of the following days.

The garden was beautiful, the rooms were super clean, the onsen was gorgeous and spotless, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. The décor was nice and the room was amazing, spacious, and the in‑room onsen was awesome.

“Japanese Style Experience At Its Very Best”

The staff were outstandingly friendly and supportive of our wellbeing; the rooms were spotlessly clean; we enjoyed a great view of the Japanese garden; we often used the private indoor and outdoor hot spring baths; the kaizeki ryori dinner was very tasty and the Japanese breakfast was generous. No complaints at all.

It felt like stepping back in time at the Ryokan, with staff who were warm and attentive, though they didn’t speak English—an added charm in our view. The dinner was delicious and meticulously prepared, served in a lovely little private room, and both the private and shared onsens were small but distinctive. The shared onsen, however, had areas with a lot of mineral buildup.
