“Wouldn't stay again”
It was quiet because there weren’t many guests. The first room had a moldy chair, so they moved us. We found food and a remote under a bed, crumbs under the table and on the walls and floor, and debris outside the tub. The TV remote could change channels but not volume. The pool was dirty and the coffee tasted plastic. The AC/heat unit was insanely loud when cycling, producing odd noises. The staff were nice, but the cleaners were clearly incompetent. I’ve stayed in Motel 6s that were cleaner. The mattress pad had pee stains. I was worried about bed bugs, but I was exhausted from the drive and stopped caring. One bed was okay, the other felt like a rock. The shampoo smelled like hibicleanse antiseptic, and the bar soap was for body and face. Given the prices, I expected better cleanliness and effort. The landscaping was awful and unwelcoming.
