Everything was great, but the meals felt a bit pricey.
“Friendly place to stay”
I thought I’d booked a room with a balcony overlooking the mountains, but when I entered I saw there was no balcony. The wonderful woman who checked me in offered a free upgrade to a balcony room, which made a huge difference; being able to sit outside with that view is amazing, and you can also enjoy it from the nice fire‑pit area. The bar was excellent, the bartender very friendly, the food superb, and the cannoli for dessert was the best. The trails behind the property are excellent, clearly marked, and the map we received from the front desk was very useful. The only issue was that the two breakfasts we had were very good, but the wait for service and food was excessive even with very few other diners.

“Amazing R&R place”
The scenery was amazing, with Mount Washington’s entrance right there, the staff were very friendly, and the restaurant was great—just all the usual positives. The only downside was that there isn’t much else nearby except the mountains; you’ll need to shop in town before heading to the hotel, and the rooms only have a mini‑fridge.
It was one of the best meals of my life, with gorgeous wine, and the proprietors went out of their way to make the experience wonderful.
