Breakfast was decent, the location was fantastic, and the views from both our room and the breakfast table were stunning. The decor felt cluttered and pastiche, overstuffed with trinkets that made it feel a bit creepy.

The hotel was lovely, especially the steward who made us feel very welcome. It was cozy and charming, and the views of the Connemara valley were the best.

The guy who checked me in, served dinner, and handled breakfast (I can’t recall his name, sorry) is a delight—kind, storytelling, and genuinely nice. The service overall was wonderful, the room cozy, and the food tasty.

The beautiful, tranquil setting right in Connemara’s nature, the excellent and extensive breakfast, and Stuart’s very friendly and welcoming service. Honestly, there was almost nothing that disappointed; the vibe is wonderfully authentic and relaxed. It isn’t a super modern accommodation, but that was to my knowledge.
