The vibe was calm, the staff were lovely, the view was beautiful, the food and wine menu were delicious, but the whole experience—from the food to the room to the spa to the staff—felt a bit off; it would have been nice to be able to pour a cup of coffee outside and watch the water, and to have nice coats for that purpose.

A fantastic spot with the best location; it’s definitely not the last time we’ll visit, and next time we’ll book a few more days.

We stopped on our way to Skagen and wished we’d stayed longer; the spot was spot-on, the interiors and exteriors were gorgeous, and the restaurant was tasty. The waiter was young and inexperienced, and at a place of this level they should have paired him with a seasoned staff member; we’d have liked more guidance and suggestions when we asked questions, like we heard at another table.
