The staff and facilities were solid, but the room carried a strong cigarette odor.

The breakfast spread and the midnight snack were both solid – tasty and plentiful. The only thing that bugged me was the lack of a fridge in the room, so storing anything was a hassle. Overall, good food but missing that little convenience.

The rooms were comfy and the breakfast was nice, but they messed up our reservation and had to scramble to find us a room. Also, having just one elevator for the whole hotel was a pain.

“One comfortable night close to Kunming Airport”

The hotel is close to the airport and offers transfers during certain hours, and the staff are friendly—just bring a translation app if you don't speak Chinese. We tried to arrange a shuttle through the booking system but got no response; we ended up taking a taxi, and the driver didn't get the English name, but the Chinese name saved us.

“Excellent overnight stay whilst catching early or late flight out of Kunming Airport”

The takeaway breakfast in a bag was a nice surprise, especially since the shuttle left at 5:30 am. Unfortunately, we couldn't get the international Wi‑Fi working.
