The small room was clean and the bedding was very comfortable, yet the house sits right next to a busy road that creates significant noise at the pool and keeps you from sleeping even with the window open, even though our room faced the garden. The welcome was very friendly, though.

The hosts assisted me in every way they could for things I needed and helped with taxis, phone calls, advice, etc. The kitchen on the same floor let me hear early breakfast being prepared. Even though it’s a no‑smoking place and I had stopped smoking, I could smell smoke inside from the front entrance where the hosts smoke outside, which made me want to smoke again. The doors were hard to lock and get into until I got used to them, but they were lovely and down to earth. Their dog and parrots were lovely and entertaining.

The pool and the location in the middle of nature were great, but there was a heat wave and we barely slept because the room was very, very hot.
