Atour Hotel Beijing South Xizhan Road

“Great location, close to Metro and train station. Great hotel to stay for few days in Beijing.”

The breakfast was a delight, fresh and with plenty of options. The hotel feels very modern, and the staff were helpful and friendly. My room was spotless and spacious.

“Convenient location and comfortable. Booking.com information needs to be corrected.”

The hotel sits in a convenient spot, roughly a 10‑to‑15‑minute walk from Beijing Xi station depending on traffic. The photo shows the side of the building facing the station, but the actual entrance is on the opposite side, so you have to walk all the way around to find it. My room had no window, yet it was well furnished and roomy, and the Wi‑Fi worked well. The staff didn’t speak English, but they were helpful with the issues mentioned. The only downside was that foreign credit or debit cards weren’t accepted; you could only pay in Yuan cash. The website claims all cards are accepted, so that should be fixed.

The staff did their best: they helped me set up Alipay, ordered a taxi to the airport, and arranged an early breakfast package. The location is very convenient, just a 5‑to‑7‑minute walk to Beijing West Railway Station. My room was clean, fairly well equipped, and bright. The hotel offers free snacks at 21:30, which is handy if you’re hungry and don’t want to go out. The only issue was that the staff didn’t speak English at all, which isn’t ideal for a hotel that markets to foreigners.

One of the perks was a complimentary buffet served between 9:30 pm and 11 pm, which was a pleasant surprise after a long day of sightseeing.

The location couldn’t be better, and the room was surprisingly quiet, which made for a very comfortable stay. I’m really satisfied and will definitely book this place again.
