The hostel was quiet, clean, simple, and comfortable (thanks for the big ice bucket in the lobby and the adjustable lamps on the tables), and the location was perfect with all tourist spots within walking distance, but the bathroom lacked hooks.

The location is close to the city centre and the staff were friendly, but the door to the room was sometimes difficult to open and the sink didn’t supply cold water.

Staying at Hostal Santa María de Úbeda was fantastic; we enjoyed the whole weekend and the experience was unbeatable. The spot is perfect, in a very quiet area where you can park on the street, yet just a few metres from the main monuments and sights of Úbeda’s historic centre, making it ideal for walking around the city. The room was very comfortable and cosy, great for relaxing after a day of exploring. We especially want to highlight the staff’s attention, always very courteous, friendly and ready to help at any time. Absolutely recommended for its location, comfort, tranquillity and especially the staff’s kindness. If we return to Úbeda, we’ll definitely stay here again. A perfect 10‑star stay! The only downside was that the mattress could be firmer.
