Diamonds Hotel

The staff were polite, welcoming and helpful with information and queries. The room and bathroom facilities were clean and comfortable. The hotel's location is very good because you're only walking distance (or very short trips on buses / trains) from Cologne's shopping districts, bars & restaurants and attractions like Cologne Cathedral. Some nights had quite a lot of external noise (loud music, people shouting, police sirens) making it difficult to sleep early, but it wasn't surprising due to the hotel's proximity to bars and clubs.

Also for a low-budget hotel it was more than good. If you book a hotel in Cologne for this money, you should expect not to be housed in a 5* hotel. It was clean, comfortable and the check‑in was hassle‑free. The loudness in the middle of the night (loud door slam – which is already no longer a slam when you’re in bed) was annoying.

The location, the staff and the size of the room were quite good. I especially thank Mr. Gürkan. Unfortunately the bathroom, shower cabin and sink were not cleaned. I honestly didn't expect that.
