“Not a 5 star hotel by any stretch of the imagination.”
The proximity to the Western Temple group was convenient, yet the staff were utterly incompetent—unable to handle simple requests and at the same time over‑serving us by constantly watching us eat and asking if everything was okay, even when plates were empty. The rooms were dated with peeling paint; the shower was cold, leaking, and sprayed everywhere, though they claimed the hot water issue was fixed when it wasn’t. The pool looked cloudy and unclean, so we avoided it, and there were only two loungers, which was odd; we had to ask for more. Communication was hard because everyone spoke limited English, which is unusual for an Indian hotel. Dinner was decent but ruined by the servers’ constant interruptions and lack of dining etiquette. It’s absurd that this place is rated five stars; it’s really a three‑star hotel at best.
