It’s a private property, and after I mentioned the problems, the owner came over right away to fix things. At first the cleanliness wasn’t up to par—bowls and dishes were dirty and there was trash under the bed. Also, there’s only one toilet for five people, so having two would be better.

The accommodation was clean, roomy, and comfortable. The owner’s communication, however, was lacking.

The caravan’s location was spot‑on and easy to find; shops were close by and the beach was just a short walk away. The only issue was that the bins on the campsite could have been emptied more often.

The caravan park was great, with plenty to do and a train that helped you get around the park. It would have been nicer to have a play area at the splash park end.
