The beach is nearby, though it needs a little cleaning from seaweed. The sea is clear and has transparent water. The staff are courteous and welcoming, and we enjoyed our stay. The rooms are clean and quiet.

The hotel sits in a pretty good spot, and overall it was a decent place. The bath was cramped, and honestly the price we paid didn’t really justify that it could have included breakfast.

I had a wonderful, quiet, romantic getaway at Elektra Comfort Hotel by Del Mare on Thassos, a perfect spot to recharge and a great backdrop for couples looking for romance, especially with the charming beach decked out in exotic décor. The staff at reception—especially the lady who welcomed us on day one—were incredibly warm and gave us excellent island recommendations every morning. Even at the end of the season, the service quality stayed high: breakfast remained varied, fresh, and generous, and the beach stayed well maintained. Daily housekeeping was flawless, and the hotel itself smelled pleasantly fragrant, contrary to some earlier reviews about a sewer smell. The room’s smart TV let us stream Netflix and YouTube easily. The pool water was heated and spotless, and both the pool and beach loungers and umbrellas were free of charge, a real bonus. The location near the port that ferries to Kavala added charm rather than inconvenience, and parking was free with spots both front and back. The restaurant served very good dishes at fair, balanced prices. The only minor gripe was that the shower cabin felt a bit tight; otherwise everything was top‑level.

I travel a lot and have stayed in many hotels, but this place left a lasting impression. Even though it was the end of the season, we didn’t feel it at all. From the moment Helena greeted us at reception—she was incredibly polite, upbeat, and smiling—the room was perfect for a peaceful holiday. After settling in, we headed to the restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by Sakis and Despina, who were incredibly nice, kind, and smiling. The food was good, breakfast was spot‑on, and the beach was still open despite the season winding down. I want to thank all the staff a huge thank you and gratitude; you made our short holiday incredible. We’ll definitely come back.

The location was convenient, the free parking was great, and it was right on the beach; the breakfast was repetitive, and there was no black tea.
