“Niepowtarzalny domek w dżungli”
The cabin offers a unique jungle stay with a full range of wildlife sounds and views. Across from the terrace, a black‑beaked toucan perched. The road from Puerto Jiménez is gravel but has been repaired and isn’t full of holes, though expect about 2 hours of travel as a tourist. The host is very friendly. Given the distance from civilization, the place is well equipped: potable water, Wi‑Fi, a stove, a dining area with the host’s food options, and a terrace with hummingbird feeders. The beach is close, as is Corcovado Park. There are three (or more) cabins on the property. We chose the ocean‑view cabin, which required climbing many stairs to enter. From our cabin we could see and hear the ocean. A tight mosquito net acted as the cabin walls, and the cabin itself was clean with a comfortable bed—probably the best of the eight different accommodations we stayed in on the trip. The only downside was the lack of shelves for unpacking, and the jungle’s nighttime noise is both a plus and a minus.
