The location was wonderful, right on the Mattsee, with a direct pier into the water and the option to use a stand‑up paddle board. We would have liked to stay longer!

The view of the lake was great. However, it was very difficult for older guests to shower in the bathtub, and there were no towels to cover the bed; the sheets felt too warm in summer.

Liegt direkt am See! Sehr entspannte Lage (wenig Lärm) Frühstück und Essen sehr gut und große Auswahl! Der Pool und die Terrasse sind spitze! Habe eine Massage gebucht die war Top 👍. Es war an den Tagen sehr Heiß und unser Zimmer hatte keine Klima! Es war aber ein Dyson Ventilator im Zimmer! Deswegen 1 Punkt Abzug! Ansonsten alles Top 👍

The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide selection, especially the freshly prepared egg dishes were outstanding. The rooms are modernly furnished and the beds very comfortable. Only a single air‑conditioner would have made the stay even more pleasant given the exceptionally high temperatures. We stayed on the second floor and enjoyed a wonderful view of the lake along with a nice balcony featuring cozy lounge chairs. The many sports equipment options such as SUP boards, swim rings, and bicycles, which can be borrowed free of charge, are also worth noting. Another big plus is the free use of public transport to Salzburg. The lake access is via a small dock in the marina. For water sports, especially with a SUP board, the space is somewhat limited, and swimming requires consideration of boat traffic. Between the hotel and the dock runs a public, heavily trafficked footpath. The lawn itself is well maintained and well equipped, but the view of the lake is largely obscured by a hedge. A beautiful panoramic view of the lake is instead available from the roof terrace. Anyone wanting to swim must go through the hotel each time to reach the lake access. The nearby beach can especially in peak season create a noticeable noise environment.
