The quiet and natural surroundings were a plus, but the staff smoked in the rooms and hallways, filling all common areas with smoke, and we were told there was no lake.

“unter diesen Umständen leider nicht empfehlenswert”

We liked the location – it was quiet yet centrally placed, and the house‑owner was genuinely kind. However, the rooms were not very clean, especially the bathroom, and we had booked a room with lake view. Unfortunately, because of an algae problem the lake was drained (something no one could control but could have been mentioned beforehand), so we didn’t get a lake view and instead looked at the neighboring house. Breakfast also fell short: reheated eggs that were probably from the previous day, frozen bakery rolls from the supermarket, and a buffet that was obviously not profitable for two guests. The sausage and cheese platter didn’t even cover three rolls, which is hard to imagine at a hotel that offers breakfast.

It was a decent hotel, but not worth the price. The lady was very friendly, and we forgot something but could retrieve it later the same day. There was a hole in the sheet.

The room was good, the food was good, and breakfast was good, but card payment was not accepted.
