The location is very good. We had to bring a guide to the hotel for a clothing test because of the intense cold on a specific outing, and the owner wouldn’t let him in; we had to try the clothes on the street, right in front of the door.

I paid a great price, the hotel is in a prime spot, everything was spotless and the staff were friendly. Nothing else to mention.

This hostel is very well situated in San Pedro de Atacama, a block from the cathedral and also from Rua Caracoles. The host greets us quickly every time; I had a closed (covered) garage to store my motorcycle (very safe). There’s a shared kitchen (instant coffee available); the setting is very picturesque, simple but pleasant. There’s a great and relatively cheap restaurant on the street next to the hostel. The fourth could be renovated; the atmosphere feels very old‑fashioned. Everything is clean and comfortable. I found the nightly rate a bit high, but for San Pedro de Atacama it was one of the cheaper options. The city is very touristy, which drives up prices for everything.

The place sits right on the main street, surrounded by restaurants, a travel agency, shops, and because it’s in the heart of the city you can park your car. The mattress felt a bit soft, but that’s a personal preference, and the hot‑water pressure was a touch uneven against the cold water.
