“Really good cabin for exploring The Lakes”
A good‑sized cabin on a Parkdean site. It had most modern amenities, limited Wi‑Fi which probably explains why there isn’t a smart TV, but we didn’t spend much time in it and that didn’t negatively affect our stay. The beds were comfy. Great location for exploring. The host was very responsive and helpful; we’d definitely stay again. The place is a little dated in some areas but that didn’t impair our stay.

The twin bedroom lights were dead, the cupboard lock in the hallway was broken so our coats stayed locked inside, there was no lock on the main bathroom, the oven and air fryer were dirty, the toilet seat in the unsuite slipped when sat on, and the shower head clip was broken – it could have been cleaner.

The cabin was cosy and warm, and the location is amazing. The master bedroom mattress had urine stains, the sofa bed was stained, the decking outside wasn’t clean, the front door was sticking, the TV was outdated, the Wi‑Fi was shocking, and the fireplace didn’t light up.

The place is in a great spot and spotless, but it would be nicer if they supplied washing tablets; overall a fantastic stay.
