Hotel Landgasthof Grüner Baum

A nice country inn, but it was a closed day during our stay. The staff were courteous and overall it was a good experience. We would stay there again anytime.

“Landgasthof in ländlicher Idylle, ruhig gelegen, gutes Frühstück und freundliches Personal !!”

I only stayed one night and had already eaten at a fast‑food chain before, so I could only sample the Swabian cuisine and unfortunately didn’t get to try it. The inn is rustic, busy, which speaks to the quality of its food. The single room was small, especially the bathroom, but it had everything and the free Wi‑Fi was fast enough for surfing and watching movies. Breakfast left a little to be desired for a few of my peers, but the staff were very friendly, checking in to see if anything was missing or if more coffee was needed. Even my extra request for a large bowl of natural yogurt was fulfilled immediately. The area is rural, calm, and slowing‑down. If you’re driving at dusk or night, be careful not to run into a fox or deer. A visit to the Federsee, just a few minutes by car from Bad Buchau, is highly recommended. Parking is available right in front of the house or free on a public lot across the street. The tiny bathroom is just really tiny.

The room was very clean, big enough for a short stay, and breakfast was plentiful and very good.

The price‑value ratio was spot on, the rooms were very clean and the breakfast was solid. The internet connection was shaky and the Wi‑Fi didn’t work well either.
