“I wouldn’t stay there again.”

The room was available, clean, and close to downtown and the airport, but we had to wait over an hour for it to be ready. The manager kept trying to extend the wait for different reasons, such as the bedding wasn’t ready or the floors were still wet, and she was very unprofessional with me and other guests who were frustrated by the scheduling issues.

“Piss poor manager”

The room was good sized and the price was a good deal, but we tried to check in at 3:45 pm and they couldn’t figure out that I had already been charged for the room, so that process took at least 30 minutes. Once that was sorted, we were told the room still wasn’t clean and we would have to wait, while another couple was also waiting. It took over an hour for us to get into our room. The first person helping us was kind and apologetic, but the second lady—who I assume was the manager—needed a serious lesson in customer service. I’ve worked at a gas station for 20 years and it takes a lot to complain about poor service, yet this lady was beyond rude to my group and the other waiting guests. They were short on housekeeping help, which I understand, but there was no need to have two people at the front desk. As a manager she should have been helping the housekeepers get rooms cleaned, not standing behind the other lady and treating customers as if we weren’t paying her. It’s hard to put it all into words, so I would actually talk to someone if you want more details.

I love how close this place is to NDSU, the room was spotless and super quiet, and the staff were all friendly—always a pleasure to stay here. Nothing to complain about.
