The staff went above and beyond to help guests, making the service excellent, but the shower hot water could have been a bit hotter, especially in the morning.

The room was spacious but in need of a makeover; breakfast was simply perfect and the staff were very helpful. The box carpet had mold, and the gym urgently needs repairs—I injured myself when an 8 kg dumbbell fell apart during my workout.

The Sunway Hotel left a strong impression on me, especially the staff who were incredibly kind and attentive, clearly enjoying their jobs and engaging with guests. The room was spacious, had a great bathroom, and came fully equipped for a comfortable stay. Breakfast offered an impressive range of items, from Western to Asian flavors. The hotel sits within walking distance of the riverside promenade, the main tourist hub. I’m certain I’ll return to the Sunway Hotel on my next trip to Phnom Penh.
