The 8‑room unit sits in the heart of old Rhodes, quiet and very close to the fountain square, surrounded by medieval‑looking streets and many good food and drink spots beyond the usual tourist places. The reception—closing early at night—helped us out and gave us lots of information; thanks to Poppy! We stayed in a ground‑floor room with a window overlooking the inner courtyard. Cleanliness was fine, and towels and sheets were changed every other day. The breakfast was a la carte; I didn’t notice it at first. That means you pick one dish (say a tasty omelette), but if you want anything else (like yogurt or pancakes) you have to pay for it. There’s no buffet. The breakfast area is in the courtyard—if it rains, it’s served in the room. I’d like more variety, a buffet. Also in the bathroom the tub was peeling inside and needs replacement.
We stayed two nights and were overall very satisfied. The lady at reception was very helpful and attentive—thanks to her. The hotel is centrally located, so you can walk to many places. Breakfast was adequate and you could pick the items you wanted. Our room was very clean and tidy. The only downside was that the bathroom had no window or sufficient ventilation, so the room got damp at times.
