The spot is spot‑on, the staff are fantastic, the room and bed feel super comfy, the hotel’s history and vibe are charming, and the garden is lovely. Nothing to complain about.

“A quirky, characterful hotel with some exceptional staff.”

The place oozes character and a touch of faded grandeur. The room was spacious, clean, and offered nice views. Bedirhan at reception was outstanding, always going the extra mile to sort out various issues. Breakfast was abundant and diverse. We’re thrilled to have chosen this quirky, character‑filled spot. On the downside, the fridge and kettle inside the room had no power outlet—though we managed to plug in the kettle, the fridge was a mystery. The hotel sits on an unfinished road, and the surrounding area feels a bit run‑down and sketchy, which clashes oddly with the grand, imposing look of the building.

“A memorable stay!!”

The location is quiet, well‑situated near everything, and the room is clean, spacious, and the staff are friendly. Meeting Bedirhan, a lovely student from Trabzon, was a highlight—he was caring, thoughtful, and gave spot‑on recommendations. No particular negatives, just the usual: there’s no “stool” for a second suitcase, a common issue in hotels worldwide.
