“Berbat”
I had a terrible experience at this hotel. It's situated on a narrow street at the top of a hill, and the roads are so steep that taxis can't even make it up. You'll be sweating buckets just walking up to the hotel, and the prices are just as high as the ones at hotels in the city center. To make matters worse, there were bugs in our room and the staff just didn't live up to the photos. We ended up checking out and moving to a different hotel.
The hotel's location is a bit of a climb, but the views from the top are amazing. It's definitely worth it if you don't mind a bit of a hike to get to the hotel.
The area around the hotel is really nice and has great views, and renting a scooter makes it easy to get around. Just be prepared for some subpar cleaning.

Plus, there's no elevator, and the front desk is usually empty. It's a shame, because the hotel has some potential.

The hotel itself was spotless, and we loved the location, perched high above the village with a beautiful food market just a short stroll away. It's a great base for exploring Patong, and the pool was a lovely bonus.
