The hotel is gorgeous and sits right across from the Glan, just a stone’s throw from the truly charming old town. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and knowledgeable – exactly the kind of team you hope for. Our group of ten dined in the restaurant in the evening and the food was delicious. Breakfast was abundant, superb, and the coffee was the best I’ve ever had in a hotel. Ordering extra spreads and rolls was effortless. The only drawback was the beds, which felt a bit too soft, but that’s the only complaint I have, and it’s a minor gripe at such a high level.

We enjoyed a tasty dinner and a solid breakfast, and the historic town was just a short walk away. The staff were pleasant. The room we were given was uncomfortably warm on a very hot day, and after we mentioned it, they moved us to two cooler rooms on a lower floor.
