The room was double‑booked, so I couldn’t stay and was essentially kicked out late at night with nowhere to go; the staff at Easy Hotel cared for nothing, and if I had been a lady being evicted at that hour in a busy city it could have been serious; very bad customer service, avoid at all costs.

“Pretty good spot to stay since everything is close by but if you’re on the 3rd floor then the stairs are kind of a pain”

Everything was so close, but the stairs were a bit of a hassle since we were on the top floor, though it wasn’t too bad.

The front desk staff were kind and always very helpful, but there was no lift, so we were accommodated on the lowest available level.

“Not worth the premium price, book a bit further out if the city if you want luxury. Really disappointed. Complete waste”

The only bright spot was the view of Edinburgh Castle from the window, but the single glazing—understandable for a listed building—made it feel drafty. The hotel isn’t accessible at all, and the room was left with dust and grime, which was disappointing. The value for money was poor, and there were no tea or coffee facilities at all.

“Hotel centrale ma camera minion”

We expected it because we’d stayed at another hotel in this chain before, but the rooms are really small and have no windows; the bathroom is very small, yet overall it was very comfortable given the truly central location! The room and bathroom are really too small.
