The spot was spot‑on for me, far from the usual tourist crowds, and I’ve seen that being away from the crowds really makes a difference. The hotel staff were great, always greeting you with a big smile. I’d definitely recommend this place if you want to experience genuine Vietnamese life through local restaurants, shops, and the friendly locals. I can’t think of any negatives.

It was convenient for the place we needed to stay. The cleanliness was lacking. The first couple of nights were a nightmare because the air‑conditioner was broken, so we had to change rooms. In the next room, the toilet was blocked, and the kettle and fridge didn’t work. The booking claimed the rooms were sound‑proof, but that turned out to be false. Cleaning staff, kids, motorbikes and people could be heard very early in the morning, showing no consideration for guests.
