“Good location, friendly staff”

The hotel looked beautiful and classic; the room was clean and comfortable, and there were laundry and car‑rental services available. The staff were friendly and provided helpful guidance, but the area around the hotel had a lot of construction sites.

“A very disappointing and frustrating stay, with excessive early-morning noise, concerning security issues and poor servi”

The location was great and the air conditioning worked well. The receptionist at checkout was apologetic and understanding about the problems we encountered. However, the stay was very disappointing: builders started hammering at 7:00 am and continued for about three hours, and the cleaning staff shouted loudly in the corridor early in the morning. We woke up to find our room door open, raising serious security concerns, though we had the latch secured. When we checked out, the receptionist apologized and suggested the door might not have been properly secured and that builders on our floor could have tried the wrong door; his apology was appreciated but the situation remained unsettling. The payment process was also frustrating: the receptionist initially lacked enough change, so we had to wait until the next day. Even with a full day to arrange it, the hotel still didn’t have the necessary cash, and we were made to wait again while staff went out to ask locals for change. Additionally, the handheld bidet spray beside the toilet leaked and dripped constantly all night, disturbing our sleep. We understand this was a budget hotel, but basic standards of security, noise control, maintenance, and customer service should still be met. For a three‑star hotel, we expected much better.
