“Ultieme rust”

A truly pleasant country house, very cozy and functional, with beautiful decorative pieces and furniture. The design is well thought out and kept in good condition. It’s very quiet, surrounded by surprisingly lush greenery, nature, and lovely views. The large garden offers plenty of seating. The place is tidy, and the pool is cleaned every week. The bathroom is pleasant. We found everything even nicer than in the photos. Eva is also a considerate host. The only downside is the narrow road on which the house sits; it’s hard to navigate, and on one occasion we were forced to back up against the oncoming traffic because the road is so narrow, steep, and stressful for someone not used to it.

“Wer Ruhe sucht ist hier absolut falsch. Es war ein Horroraufenthalt!”

The contact with Eva was good. We never met in person, but she answered questions quickly. The house is old and somewhat run down, but that can be overlooked. However, there is a huge problem with pests, mainly ants and centipedes, which we noticed immediately upon arrival (see photos). Unfortunately, basic supplies like salt were missing. The broken plastic chairs should have been replaced long ago. Having rented holiday homes in the Canary Islands for 20 years, we find the reviews hard to understand. The worst issue was the neighbor’s dog, which barked for 12 hours a day and at night it was unbearable. The dog was on a leash 24 hours and left alone 12 hours. We couldn’t sleep any night, and we fled in the morning because we couldn’t tolerate the dreadful barking. I even recorded videos, but Booking only allows photos. Having owned dogs for 30 years, we can’t comprehend this animal cruelty. The dog’s suffering and the guests’ discomfort are both unacceptable. Eva can’t do anything about it because dog ownership is legal in Spain. The pool was unusable because of the pests. After six nights we left the house completely exhausted. Anyone looking for peace is completely wrong to stay here. It was a horror experience for us!

Overall, everything was great. Eva was attentive to everything, I talked to her a few times and she was super friendly. The location was quiet, the house was very cozy and warm at night. The pool was available at any time for a dip, and we had an amazing few days. Thank you, Eva, for your kindness and attention. Best regards. We’ll return ❤️

“Un lugar ideal para desconectar.”

In general, the accommodation is very welcoming, and communication with the owner was excellent. Nothing noteworthy to mention.
