I stayed in a charming historic building with a comfy bed and a powerful shower; room 5 had a kitchen, seating area, bedroom, and bathroom that offered lovely views of the grounds. Breakfast was five-star and the staff were friendly, helpful, and gave great recommendations. The walk downhill into town was easy, and we often spotted deer roaming freely.

The property is a very beautiful, English‑style accommodation that feels lovingly furnished; guests feel very welcome, and Sylvia the owner and Christine, the good spirit of the house, do everything to make the stay as pleasant as possible. The breakfast is excellent and plentiful.
