The staff were friendly, the location was great, and the view was lovely, but I only stayed for a short time.

We booked the deluxe caravan, which was surprisingly roomy and even had an outside deck; the river view was nice and the site was close to the main street. It was freezing that night, so we appreciated the electric blankets and heating.

The location was good, and on the first day the staff rang to ask if we needed anything like extra towels. The van was very unlevel; it used to be a deluxe model 30 years ago but not anymore. On Friday we asked for soap and a toilet roll and were told we weren't at a motel and should go to the IGA up the road to buy our own. Paying just under $150 per night doesn't justify that.
