This wasn’t a proper hotel room—just a simple room in a building that wasn’t clearly marked and was hard to find. The location and the fact that it was marketed as a hotel with its usual facilities were disappointing.

The location was great, central yet on a quiet street, and the room was spacious and clean. However, our ground‑floor room faced the street, so it felt a bit dark and the windows and curtains couldn’t be opened fully for privacy.

The room was beautifully decorated, immaculately presented, and in a perfect spot. The hotel was very comfortable, with lively touches from the relaxation area to the teas, coffees, and biscuits provided. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Nothing to complain about.

The location was superb, and courteous touches began right from the start. The cleaning staff were extremely attentive throughout the stay, and there was a daily surprise breakfast that wasn’t mentioned when booking, featuring biscuits, toast, jam, and various types of espresso. The property gives easy access to three vaporetto stations, including those that connect to Piazzale Roma for airport transfers, and to Venice’s main attractions; St. Mark’s Square is just a leisurely 15‑minute walk away, for example. If you plan to visit farther locations or the islands, a travel pass is far more convenient than individual tickets, and these stations are just a few minutes from Ai Cherubini.
