The room was clean and the street was quiet, even though it was just a couple of steps from the train station. The facilities were modest and minimal. The bathroom door needed a chair to stay closed. The TV couldn't be used properly because the image froze constantly. Because the walls were thin, you could hear the neighbor either pulling the chair or using the toilet. The room was dark, with the glass entrance door being the only source of natural light. Overall, it felt somewhat unwelcoming and made you want to leave as quickly as possible rather than feel comfortable and stay.
