The room was clean and comfortable, and the restaurant tables offered sea views. Because I booked through the booking app, I wasn’t given access to Lost Beach; breakfast was basic, there were no umbrellas for guests, the heated pool was tiny, and for the price I expected more—overall the value for money is poor.

The staff were friendly, but the ceiling paint was peeling and trash was visible from the balcony down into the courtyard. The “American breakfast” consisted of two eggs, a small cup of fruit, two commercial croissants with coffee and juice, which all felt cheap. The door stopped working; instead of replacing the battery they installed a poorly fitted manual lock. Because the handle couldn’t turn fully, the latch couldn’t be set and we were secured with a bit of wood. For $200 a night I expected a more first‑class experience.
