The spot is right beside the highway and a 24/7 convenience store, with a gas station shop that also has a restaurant open until 11 pm, making it truck‑driver friendly and sound‑isolated so no car or truck noise is heard outside. The rooms are spacious, clean, and come with free Wi‑Fi, TV channels, and strong AC. The gas station offers charging for cars, trucks, and EVs. One room’s bed had a dent from use, the furniture feels a bit dated, and the hallway is hot with poor ventilation.

“Room feeling tired. Maintenance needed”

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room had a double bed as requested, the aircon worked perfectly and was much appreciated in the hot summer heat, and the Wi‑Fi worked great without a problem; breakfast was superb and the staff were marvellous. We had room 106, the mattress had collapsed in the middle and needs replacing, more pillows were needed, the shower barely works and needs replacing as well, and it was not up to the usual high standards of Valcarce.

The staff were very friendly even though they had no English skills, the price‑for‑money was right for a stop‑over, the shop at the gas station had everything you might need, the air‑conditioning was important in hot August, and there were plenty of parking spaces; the location was directly next to a gas station with a truck stop and the staff had no English.
