“A terrific experience”
A terrific small family enterprise. The room was clean, spacious and the bed comfortable. I initially booked and stayed 2 nights then booked a further 5 nights. The restaurant downstairs I visited many times and the meals were prepared quick and were very inexpensive and tasty. I also rented a scooter from Marbun and this was a painless exercise. I was invited to join the family to watch a local football match which was an enjoyable occasion. I thoroughly recommend Marbun for the budget traveller looking for a homestay style experience that is value for money. I would definitely stay here again if back on Samosir Island
